Why Such a Small Arena?

La Raza was admittied to the CISL with the undestanding that Monterrey Tech was a temporary home until work was completed on 16,000 seat (and regulation-field sized) Monterrey Arena. As of May 2003, Arena Monterrey is still not finished.

 

¿Qué significa La Raza?

While literally translating as "The Race", La Raza translates as "The Gang" or "The Friends" colloquially.

 

What Happened to 1998?

La Raza did not play in the PSA during 1998.

La Raza was expelled from the WISL before the 2001 season due to the lack of progress on building Arena Monterrey.
