• 1995: David Doyle played the third quarter as the Sidekicks goalkeeper in a game at Monterrey.

All-Star Game Date Announced

• 1988: The MISL All-Star Game would be played on February 22, 1989 at Reunion Arena.
  • As the league played in a one division format this season, the game would be the MISL All-Stars vs the Sidekicks.

Exhibition Schedule Announced

• 1987: The Sidekicks announced the schedule for 4 pre-season games, all on the road.

• 2003: West Texas A&M announced they would host Dallas in an outdoor exhibition on September 9.
  • The Sidekicks and WTA&M played to a 2-2 tie on August 26, 1997 in Amarillo, Texas.
