Beau Brown was drafted by the Sidekicks in the fourth round (45th overall) of the 1997 CISL Draft.

How He Got Here (Second Time)

Brown's rights returned to the Sidekicks on September 27, 2002 as a result of a three team trade between Dallas, Harrisburg, and Cleveland. While the Sidekicks announced he would return after completing his college degree in December of 2002, he did not report to Dallas during the 2002-03 season.

Brown played half of the summer of 1998 with the Lafayette Swampcats of the Eastern Indoor Soccer League (a Division II Indoor league that played a short early summer schedule).

• Missed two games while suffering from the flu from November 29-30, 2003.
• Missed another two game weekend with a sprained ankle January 24-25, 2004.
• Missed games on March 14 at Cleveland and March 21 vs. Milwaukee with a ankle injury.
