#2 Neil Cohen

M*A*S*H*ed

Cohen suffered a knee injury at St. Louis on December 30, 1984, and was out the remainder of the season.

Where Did He Go?

Cohen retired on September 24, 1985. He told the Dallas Morning News on September 25, 1985:

The team doctor (Howard Moore) said that if I continue playing, I could be risking more serious damage. I don't feel that I could compete 100 percent. Therefore, I feel the timing is right to retire...I have played 12 years, and now it is time to change directions, since I can no longer perform to my capabilities. I hope to continue working in soccer in the Dallas area in some capacity.

Cohen is currently Vice President of Operations for Speed Fulfillment and Call Center in Dallas. He also coaches for the Solar youth club in Dallas.

How He Got Here

Cohen signed as a Free Agent on July 19, 1984.
