How Did He Get Here
Cooke came to the Sidekicks as the Assistant Coach. Charlie was signed as a player after a string of injuries dropped the Sidekicks roster to below the minimum number of players required. He was "cut" after several of the injured players returned.

Cooke left the Sidekicks after one year to coach the Wichita Wings. Cooke is now the Director of the Charlie Cooke Soccer School in Cincinatti, Ohio.
