• 2004: Sidekicks owner Sonny Williams told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that was "stepping away" from the Sidekicks.
  • Payment has been stopped for all front office personnel except GM Jim Tolbert.

See You In Court

• 2002: The Sidekicks filed a suit in Federal Court today against the Dallas Deserperados Arena Football team, Jones Team Sports, Inc. and the Arena Football League claiming the logo used by the Desperaods club looks too much like the one used by the Sidekicks since 1993. The Dallas Cowboys, who own and operate the Desperados, would not comment on the lawsuit.
