- 1990: KKWM (570
AM) informed the Sidekicks before game time that they would no longer carry
Sidekicks radio broadcasts. Station General Manager Denny Rossman was quoted
in the Dallas Morning News as saying the team had been uncooperative in providing
the station with items such as satisfactory game tickets and help in locating
sponsors. Sidekicks owner Phill Cobb said "...I'm irate...I'm mystified...We
would have been happy to work with him if we had known."
- KKWM, then a light
AC station, is now KLIF (Talkradio 570).
- KAAM (then 1310 AM)
picked up radio playoff game coverage later.
