• 1996: Tatu scored the first two goals of the game to extend his personal point scoring streak to 100 games.

Expansion Draft

• 2003: The Sidekicks lost the following players in the new-MISL expansion draft that stocked teams from Monterrey and St. Louis:
  1. Armando Valdivia (2nd Overall)
  2. Antonio Sutton (11th overall)
  3. the rights to Juan de la O (never signed with Dallas)

Bidding War

• 1987: David Kessler, the agent for Tacoma goalkeeper Joe Papeleo, announced that Dallas had enterered what is now a four team bidding war for Papeleo's services (he became a free agent at the end of the MISL Championship series.)
  • Kessler met with Sidekicks coach Gordon Jago today and discussed "numbers and other things" for a long term contract.
  • Papeleo would eventually sign with the Sidekicks and stay for the next 7 years, retiring after the 1994 season.
