The MISL Players Association rejected a demand for an additional $200,000
reduction in the salary cap as part of a 12 point proposal to keep the league
in business.
Stan Finney, representing
the Sidekicks at the Board of Governors meeting, said that this rejection
made the owner's threat to fold the MISL if it was not accepted a "good
possibility."
