1991: Phill Cobb,
majority owner of Championship Soccer, Inc.(the corporation that operated
the
Sidekicks) ceased operations of the franchise until new ownership could be
found. Cobb told the Dallas Morning News that he lost $1.5-$2 million
during
his two years as the principle owner of the club.
