REEBOK AND MISL FORM MARKETING AND LICENSING PARTNERSHIP
Leading sports apparel company named League’s official uniform supplier
 

(Westport, Conn., July 29, 2002) – The Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) and Rebook International Ltd. announced today a multi-year marketing and licensing agreement that features the selection of Reebok as the “Official uniform and apparel supplier of the MISL.”

Through the agreement, Reebok will exclusively outfit all of the League’s teams with game uniforms, warm-ups, and practice gear while also providing travel apparel and shoes. Additionally, Reebok has been named the “Official uniform partner of the MISL All-Star Weekend” and will provide official game uniforms for MISL All-Star and Legends players.

“Reebok is a global leader in the uniform, shoe, and apparel business and will be a key partner of the MISL for years to come,” MISL Commissioner Steve Ryan stated. “The Reebok brand is recognized worldwide as one of quality and innovation and the League is proud to partner with such an outstanding company.”

As part of the deal, the MISL will provide exclusivity to Reebok in the uniform and apparel category for all League events and programs. Reebok has also been granted a MISL exclusive license for the in-arena selling of select apparel and replica jerseys and will be given advertising and presence at MISL Summer Camps. Additionally, the MISL and Reebok will work closely together on various grassroots marketing initiatives and co-branding efforts.

The Major Indoor Soccer League, launched in August of 2001, is a single-entity organization featuring a coast-to-coast presence with eight teams located across the United States.
