SIDEKICKS GET SUTTON AND TEDONI IN DRAFT
Trade first round pick Moser for Sutton

DALLAS, Texas – The Dallas Sidekicks selected Mark Moser and Tim Tedoni in the Major Indoor Soccer League dispersal draft Thursday. MISL teams selected from the St. Louis Steamers roster. St. Louis will not participate in the 2002-03 MISL season.

The Sidekicks selected Moser, a forward, with the fifth pick in the first round, then traded his rights to Philadelphia for forward Antonio Sutton. Dallas then selected defender Tim Tedoni in the second round (13th overall).

Sutton, 29, enters his seventh professional season. He spent five seasons with the Sacramento Knights before being selected by Philadelphia in the Sacramento dispersal draft February 11, 2001. Sutton was the second leading scorer in Sacramento with 20 goals last season. He finished behind teammate and WISL MVP Ato Leone (25 goals). Sutton has increased his season goal total each the last three years.

Tedoni enters his second year of indoor soccer. He played in all 24 games and totaled 35 blocks. He also scored three goals and added four assists.
