Where Did He Go?

Ian Martin signed a new contract with the Sidekicks on August 1, 1985, but was released during training camp. He began a career as a youth soccer coach with the Dallas Storm in 1986, and operated his own camps from 1986-89.

While continuing to coach youth teams, Martin became the head coach of Barry University's men's program in 1989, staying there until moving to Butler Uinversity in 1993.

Martin coached Indiana Blast of the A-League (outdoor second division) during the 2000 and 2001 seasons, being fired on October 29, 2001.

Ian Martin is currently Director of Coaching for the Countryside Youth Soccer Association in Clearwater, Florida.
