Cancelled
- 2004: The
Sidekicks announced they would not broadcast any more road games this season.
- While officially
announced as a "cost-cutting" move, General Manager Jim Tolbert told
fans questioning the decision via email that team owner Sonny Williams
ordered the move.

Cincinatti
Sidekicks?
- 1991: Sidekicks
owner Phil Cobb announced that he was in discussions with a group in Cincinatti,
Ohio interested in purchasing the Sidekicks and transfering them to that city.

Phil Cobb
was also speaking to Fort Worth businessman Richard Rainwater about purchasing
the club. Rainwater was not interested in assuming the $500,000 debt owed
to the Dallas Mavericks owed when the club was sold to the Sidekicks I Ltd.
group. He proposed having the Sidekicks organization file for Chapter 7
bankruptcy and found a new club with a different name. Nothing came of these
discussions.
